How we all work together at Fantastic Journeys to keep everyone safe:
We respect everyones’ right to personal privacy.
We establish an atmosphere and environment where everyone, including children and vulnerable adults, feel comfortable and caring enough to point out attitudes and behaviours they do not like. And have a way to do so.
We provide safe physical environments for children
and vulnerable adults by applying our
Health and Safety Policy.
We follow all safeguarding concerns or incidents with the procedures outlined in our Safeguarding Policy.
We maintain an appropriate distance from participants, only touching participants where touch is positive, consensual, appropriate and supports engagement and participation.
We respond appropriately if a participant initiates physical contact. For example, responding to a physically affectionate participant in a friendly way, whilst yet maintaining appropriate boundaries and ensuring other staff members are present.
We ensure everyone working or volunteering with us; is interviewed,
has an Enhanced DBS check from within the last 3 years, completes
safeguarding training every 2 years, provides 2 satisfactory references, has read and should complies with our Safeguarding, Health and Safety, GDPR, Online Safety and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion policies, and our Code of Conduct.
We follow our social media and images policy.
Any social media engagement with individuals will be through
Fantastic Journeys CIC profiles only.
Permissions must be obtained by Fantastic Journeys for any photographs taken for use on social media.
Where possible images are captured on a Fantastic Journeys
phone or tablet.
If, on rare occasions, staff use their personal phone to take photographs, they must be uploaded at the earliest possible opportunity and deleted immediately.
